Best small SUVs for 2021. If you want a utility vehicle that won't cast too large a shadow, compact SUVs offer a great blend of capability and daily usability. The Toyota RAV4 Prime is an excellent contender for anyone looking for a fuel-efficient small SUV. It is the most powerful variation of the RAV4 and can sprint to 60 mph in under six seconds. The manufacturer thought it wise to make sure its dealerships have sufficient on this model that is officially no longer in the VW lineup.

10 – 2020 Nissan Qashqai S AWD - $26,198
It's amazing how quickly the rankings can change from year to year. Last year, the Nissan Qashqai S AWD was fourth in the top 10. This year, due to the integration of more safety-related technologies, Nissan's most affordable 4WD crossover is more expensive and drops to the tenth spot.
